EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND AND TRAINING:

Isaac Romano holds a Master of Science Degree in Education, Early Childhood Leadership Program, Early Childhood Education and Administration, Bank Street College of Education, New York, New York. Isaac is currently a doctoral student in Child Psychology at the Union Institute and University, Cincinnati, Ohio/Montpelier, Vermont.

Isaac's primary fields of study and expertise are Child Development Theory and Related Neurosciences, and Attachment Styled, Non-Punitive-Democratic Parenting: an effective democratic discipline model, leading children of all ages to feel loved, supported, and with no need to rebel.

Isaac Romano was one of the first certified parenting instructors with the Aware Parenting Institute (1994-current), www.awareparenting.com Isaac is the only Certifed Parenting Instructor with the Aware Parenting Institute living in Western Canada.

Isaac is available for parenting workshops, consultations, and In-Home parent-mentoring and for child care workshops and consultations throughout North America.

Additionally, Isaac Romano leads "Building Community/Welcoming Diversity" workshops, a prejudice reduction training model of the National Coalition Building Institute (NCBI), Canada.

This popular workshop was recently attended by 89 parents and child care providers.
